Angi Perretti

“As an author and costume designer, I look forward to becoming an instrumental participant in promoting our City Beautiful to a world-class arts community. Over the years, I have come to affirm that Orlando is just the most exciting city in Florida to enjoy life at its best. I believe Orlando possesses a kindling spirit for a flourishing art community that beckons and welcomes a broad spectrum of artists.”

In 2006, Angi realized a childhood dream of a lifetime and founded her costume design studio at Cottage Way in the prestigious Lake Eola Heights Historic District of downtown Orlando. There, she founded Walking~Works~of~Art,” a philanthropy for the arts. Initially conceived as a caricature of herself, Angi Perretti contrived the character of AngiArts in 2006 to rally and promote the arts and culture movement in downtown Orlando. The caricature is a combination of fantasy genre and a mixture of cartoon elements. “AngiArts” became the 10th Identity Trademark Design of the Walking~Works~of~Art collection. Her perpetual adventures began when she landed at Lake Eola.

Angi Perretti is a Florida-native, born and raised in Miami in the 50’s. She currently lives in southwest Orlando. She has 3 children and 5 grandchildren and hopes to inspire their awareness for reading and literary culture.

Angi Perretti, Costume Designer and Artist, displays her Walking~Works~of~Art upon the human figure by a signature portrait of fabrics and colors via haute couture. Available for viewing only a short time—as an eclipse of art—the viewers of Angi’s artwork should consider themselves hand-picked by the art gods with a divine invitation to ponder an artistic moment of wonder and diversion. Incidentally, if you didn’t get to see her, you’ll never know what you missed.
But if you do—Like it or not—its art!
